"Tsk, tsk, tsk......this boy!"

This post dates back to 30th August 2010, i.e., the day we went to Lata Kinjang Waterfall and ate big-headed prawns in Tanjung Tualang. What Mommy is going to blog about now is the time when we had already returned home and it was 7.00pm.

Mommy was busy doing food preparation in the kitchen and getting ready to start the actual cooking. Papa was already sound asleep at the sofa (he must be very, very exhausted from driving!) and Juan Or was watching VegeTales DVD on the TV. Just before Mommy started the cooking, Mommy peeped to see what Juan Or was up to or doing because he seemed very quiet. From the kitchen, this was what Mommy saw:

At one glance, it seemed like Juan Or was standing by the coffee table (blocked by the sofa) watching his show, right? Then when Mommy went closer to peep, apparently this was what he was up to......

So this boy was actually sitting on the coffee table itself, and on Mommy's paperback dictionary like his seat pad, like an 'emperor' - too engrossed and comfortable with his position and activity so much so he didn't realize Mommy snapping his photos! Notice the mess on the floor too? This mess was created by Juan Or. He actually swept all the things down (except for the dictionary) from the table onto the floor, thus adding more mess to the mess he already created on the floor previously.

Here's another view of the boy 'emperor' - still too engrossed to even realize Mommy being near him already. ^_^

Kiahahaha! The 'merit' of having kids! I always envy you of having Juan Or such an obedient boy, who was able sit still for a long time span regardless what attracted him(T.V or toys)... you should see my house, the mess is definitely inimaginable and they never sit still for more than 10 mins!:p

Have a nice day!

Smallkucing, LOL, the 'Emperor' knows what is comfort! :-D

mNhL, hahahah...this boy, I don't know what to say....I have reprimanded him before for sitting or climbing tables, any tables, but looks like he's still doing it when I'm not looking.

Shenny's mommy, LOL, that's why I refer to him as the 'Emperor'! :-D

Alice Law, hahahaha....I would say Juan Or's obedience level on the whole is only 60%. Not all the time he is obedient, though. But he definitely becomes obedient once he sees anger in our eyes! :-D About his attention span, he will only be glued to the thing if he is really really interested in it, otherwise he will be walking here and there, climbing here and there, kacau here, kacau there while the TV or laptop is playing his children DVD. Then when I threaten to switch off, he will quickly run back and sit in front of the TV/laptop. Once I'm back to doing household things, then he will start lingering away from the TV again until I threaten again to switch it off, and the cycle continues. ABout mess in your house, oh, I thought every time I went to your house, I thought it looked much neater than mine! The mess that Juan Or created makes it look like as if an angin taufan has happened in the house! And I can't find the time and energy to clear that mess (plus we adults' mess), but the thought of clearing the mess has been ticking very strongly in my head lately. ugh....no energy.

Prince n princess mum, LOL!

He looked so cute in this sitting position. He was really engrossed in the cartoon. At least could allow you to do your cooking peacefully.

Sheoh Yan, LOL, that's what those children DVDs are for.....to keep little kids occupied when we parents couldn't attend to them, especially household chores like cooking which requires continuation.
