Juan Or Meets Small Kucing!

On the 6th day of Chinese New Year, Mommy has brought Juan Or to meet Small Kucing and his Mamarazzi for the first time!

Juan Or was hesitant to step into Small Kucing's house or even to face Mamarazzi at first, but luckily Small Kucing has many toys (including Lego and choo-choo train toys) to entice Juan Or, so very quickly, Juan Or settled down comfortably!

Here's the two of them, posing together. See....Small Kucing is so much taller (almost 15 cm taller!) and more packed in body mass than Juan Or even though both of them were born only 3 months apart. Hehehe.....now Mommy is wondering what secret formula food did Mamarazzi gave Small Kucing to eat?

Small Kucing was very kind to share his toys with Juan Or. But of course as most boys do, at one point, both of them played to the extend of fighting for toys. Juan Or (with crying face some more!) chased after Small Kucing to grab the toy he wanted! Their antics were so cute! ^_^

Not just that, Small Kucing was also a good Big Brother for feeding Juan Or with cultured milk drink. Yes, Small Kucing was actually holding the bottle for Juan Or to drink from it - like a Little Emperor! ^-^

By the way, Mamarazzi was very kind and generous to buy satar and lekor from Kuala Terengganu for Mommy to take back home to eat.*Thanks, Mamarazzi!*

Besides the satar and lekor, Mamarazzi also gave cookies and arrowhead chips which she had fried herself. The arrowhead chips are so tasty so much so Papa had already finished all of them before Mommy could even find the time to take the photos! But there's also something extra for Juan Or from Mamarazzi herself.....

It's a present! Wonder what it is.....

Then Juan Or tried pulling out the thing inside, but it just wouldn't come out, so he became agitated....

So finally Mommy had to pull it out for him....and turned out it's a cute KFC coinbox!

But of course for now, Mommy has to keep the coinbox out of Juan Or's reach first since the 'little house' is made of ceramic lest he drops and breaks it! So for now, the coinbox is an ornament in the display cabinet! ^_^

Small Kucing, oh, no worries, they taste good, no basi at all. Thanks so much for the coinbox! I'm sure Juan Or is eager to gasak some more coins from Ah Gong! ^_^ My babysitter also got give me a jar of arrowhead chips that she fried herself but my hubby said yours is more sedap! Thumbs up!

Cleffairy, thanks for the tips! Yes, I guess so judging from Small Kucing's blog - he looks very independant in eating and willing to eat anything some more.

Cleffairy, yours one even if don't eat rice, but he's still willing to eat the lauk-pauk - that's good enough already, at least his diet is more balanced. Mine ah, worse - go out to makan, he's only willing to eat white rice, drink Chinese tea and eat ice. The lauk-pauk he won't touch at all! Even if the gravy kena the white rice, he won't want to eat that 'comtaminated' rice already.

Sobs, dun worry... urs still small... just around Joshua's age, rite? Mine is older... 6 yo this year... still liddat... very cham lehhh...no rice, only take certain veggies that made into soup, else wun makan. Go out makan wif him, damn susah... especially if go out makan with the in laws. Sure criticize wan.

I remember sister last time was like Juan Or...my mum would mash everything up with rice in one bowl and feed her... else she oso wun makan...til she's 5, she din eat much lauk oso... just bits of ayam and potato bits, the rest she dun like. I guess some kids are like that... hopefully will outgrow this phase lo.

I tink Juan Or dun like strong taste food? He likes bland food?

That was nice, so small kucing had you and Juan Or as visitors on a good day!

And a lot of toys seemed to have broken the ice between them :)

It's a great thing to see kids playing together peacefully :D

The pics of both Juan Or and Joshua play together are so cute! :)

And the KFC coin box is so lovely! Must be heavy even without the coin. Hehe.

Cleefairy, I hope I don't have to mash up his food for too long. Hopefully he outgrows this phase fast. Currently, I spend a lot of time (on average 3-4 hrs) to finish eating my dinner, mash and chew up his food, feed him and then wash up the plates, bowls, kuali, and rice cooker. After all that, then only I either bath him one more time for the day or I sendiri go and mandi. By then it's usually 9.30pm already, sometimes can be 10pm. Everything do until late-late. :-( Yes, Juan Or likes bland food for those so-called proper food, but if it's snack type, then he likes cukup rasa one! ^_^

Alice Law, 3 mths apart. Well, in fact, it's slightly less than 3 mths apart. His secret formula? Tak pilih makan. I think Ah Xuan will eventually catch up in body build becos I notice he's willing to try any food offered to him. Hehehe....Papa already start working loh, only me still on leave because the babysitter was still not back from Thailand yet.

Puan Isah, yes, the secret to getting him to settle down comfortably in a new house environment is to have toys and if possible, children as well.

Plioz, oh yes! THanks for visiting! :-)

Cheeyee, oh, yes, the coinbox is considered heavy for a young child. Some more it's breakable, so I don't dare to let him play with it yet, otherwise sayang!
